Season Kick off event and Beacon Park opening
Join us in our season kickoff event at the Little Ski Hill on Tuesday December 21st! The BCA beacon training park will be up and running. There will be beer, beacon search games, and good times! This is a fundraising event to raise money to continue maintenance on the beacon park. See you all there!

SheJumps Intro to Backcountry: Beacon Training
Come learn or brush up on your beacon search skills on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 2-5pm at the Little Ski Hill. We will have a demonstration of the on-site beacon park, familiarize ourselves with our beacons, practice drills, and finish with races. Be prepared to be outside for the whole time. Let us know if you own or have access to a beacon and probe, if not we can provide these for you. Register on the Eventbrite site!

Join SheJumps and Friends of Payette Avalanche Center for a screening of Buried! In 1982 an avalanche at Alpine Meadows Resort changed the lives of hundreds, impacted the Lake Tahoe and ski industry as a whole, and changed the way resorts approached avalanche control.
