The AIARE Level 1 Motorized Avalanche Course is a comprehensive introduction to avalanche safety for snowmobilers and motorized backcountry riders. This course provides essential decision-making tools to assess and manage avalanche risk while traveling in winter terrain. Through a mix of classroom learning and hands-on field exercises, participants will develop skills in terrain evaluation, snowpack assessment, and companion rescue. This course lays the foundation for making informed choices and staying safe while riding in avalanche-prone areas.
