None reported

Observations

Difficult skiing on southerly aspects due to surface crusts. We skied north facing slopes and still experienced heavy snow and roller balls due to recent warm temperatures. We dug a pit on a SE facing slope in Wildwood Bowl hoping to see the buried crust layer and test it's stability. We found the buried crust layer 50cm down and had some results with our CT but no results with ECT. We still decided not to ski anything south facing due to the difficult surface crust! With 2-3" of new snow today on top of the surface crust and the buried crust I am still suspicious of south facing slopes over 30 degrees.
