No

Observations

We experienced widespread wind effect on the wind exposed West and Southwest aspects of Jug Saturday. Ski conditions were still very good in protected areas. We experienced some isolated cracking while skiing and skinning as well 6-8-inch-deep failures with very gentle pressure in mitt pits and ski cuts on the softer snow below the wind affected snow. Of major note was that there were no recent avalanches or debris on the East and Northeast slopes we saw from the summit ridge. The cornices had grown considerably since earlier in the week, see photo. I would be interested to know if anything popped loose anywhere after the Saturday evening earthquake.

Media

E and NE aspects on Jug showed no recent avalanches as of Saturday afternoon.
