Observations

The avalanche danger was moderate for the day, and the avalanche problems were (1) dry loose on north-facing slopes and (2) wet loose on south-facing slopes. We definitely observed sluff on steeper slopes, but the bigger problem for us was the soft slab on slopes that had the sun crust under the new snow.
