Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

We did multiple stability tests at various elevations with no signs of instability. We skied 6000 vertical feet with no instability. On the bottom of last run I went to a short 43 degree northeast slope with first turn triggering a 4 inch crown behind me. I was able to maintain my edges in the surface bed and ski out. The snow ran for about 100 feet and stopped at bottom of the run.
