Comments:
2nd hand report. Rain on Snow event. A total of 3 avalanches reported, two hit the road w/o damage. These paths have been active since fires impacted the area. They have run in 2014, 2019, 2021 and this year.
Slide in photograph ran 2,000 vertical, full path to the East Fork of the South Fork Salmon River. It's worth noting that in past years both paths in photo coalesced into 1 avalanche. Past events in this area have damaged the road.
It's worth noting that avalanche observations from outlying areas provide extremely valuable data and are greatly appreciated.

Observation provided by road crew, thanks! It is also worth noting that the warm weather softened the ice deck and stuck a plow truck.
