Elev: 6800'
Asp: East
Slope: 25⁰
Wind: SW dead (lightly load)
Sky: OVC,

180cm overall depth. Starting from the top there was a surface of graupel and new snow stellars. Moving down I found 14 cm of decomposing new snow particles followed by 16cm of near surface faceting and buried surface hoar. 0-133cm showed right side up densification with the exception of a 10cm 4 finger basal layer of melt rounds. In this location any funkiness lay in the top 45cm. Through the 1.8 meter snowpack I was seeing a 5⁰c temperature gradient.

Shovel shear #1 failure @155cm. Q2. Buried surface hoar layer.
Shovel shear #2 failure @110cm. Q1. DF layer.

CT24 failure @125cm. Q3. DF layer.
