PAC toured just north of Grass Mtn Lakes under sunny skies and sustained 20 mph South winds. Good stability and good soft snow in wind-sheltered areas. Some wind affect on the surface of the last 4-5 inches, and in some areas the wind has blown it all away. We did find fairy well-preserved surface Hoar under the last 4-5” in lower protected areas and on the snow surface as well as some near-surface facets producing hard Q2 results in the upper foot of the snowpack that lack propagation.
