Observations

Brundage Ridge - elev 7640 near communication s tower #1

Dug quick pits on west and east side of ridge out of bounds. West aspect - CT 27 @ 28 cm Q1 and CT 24 @27 cm Q1 9 cm new snow, East aspect - CT11 @ 9 cm Q2, x2, Ct 29 @ 30 cm Q1, CT 27 @30 cm Q1 - 9 cm new snow. New snow started out as heavy fog with rime, transitioned to needles and rime then to mixed forms with rime. new sno 9 cm from 8:00 AM to 14:00.

Failure is in same layer as last week. Settlement of snowpack has brought failure layer closer to surface in spite of today's new snow. Did not do ECT as last week was ECTN.
