Skinning up the north ridge of Sargent’s we observed variable conditions. At lower elevations we found an 18” storm slab that was very reactive in mitt pits. Several times the columns popped out on isolation. While ascending we observed shooting cracks in areas with greater amounts of wind transportation. We chose to stay 100% out of avy terrain.
