Observations

We ski toured the SW and NE aspect of the lower Granite Mountain. Visibility was tough with the moisture in the air. Warmer new snow was coming down in the form of rimed stellars and graupel. Our test pits on showed the recent layer of buried surface hoar having potential to fail and propigate. Shallow Wind slabs were not very reactive, but showed sins of poor bonding. We stayed off steeper terrain.
