Observations

Just above Lake Serene the Winds were strong out of the Southwest, and loading and forming slabs near the ridge. We skied a SW slope that had a steep (40 degree) section and had some minor surface snow move as to be expected and did not see any other instabilities. We skied a NE slope that had wind effect at the top, and soft snow down out of the wind. We were cautious given the structure of the snowpack.
