Winds on the ridges today had an eastern component. THIS CAN LEAD TO LOADING IN ATYPICAL AND UNUSUAL PLACES. I don’t like east winds for this reason.
Some surface hoar observed today some of it was already being broken down by wind. The surface hoar and cold temps could lead to a weak surface for the next storm cycle.
