More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Full Profile on a N/NE aspect. Near Surface Facets buried 33cm below surface were offering the most problematic results in my pit tests. Buried Surface Hoar 51 cm below surface was noted but did not result in any test failures. Well preserved large grain Depth Hoar at the bottom of snowpack from the October snow. Temperature gradient looked good and seemed like a rounding regime beginning to take place mid snowpack. Graupel on new snow surface could be problematic in future.

Loose, surface snow moving on steep North aspects. Southern aspects skied really well. Good skiing, not a soul around. Good day to be in the mountains.

Snowed heavy at times with squalls of intermittent graupel. Cold, calm winds with light gusts on ridgetops. Mostly overcast with short breaks in the storm.
