This is a short video showingpropagation in an ECT and a PST test on the faceted layer found above the Thanksgiving Rain Crust that is present throughout the advisory area. Test results vary by aspect and the amount and density of the slab above,  but the structure is similar throughout the local mountains. Rain and warm temperatures on 1/5/18 may make this layer more reactive until the snowpack gets a solid refreeze.
