Soft slabs about 6" in depth, sloughing off rollovers were observed.  These slabs were composed of a dense layer of new snow, overlying light snow from the previous day.  Shooting cracks were noticed on both ascent and descent. Strong winds were causing wind loading, making trail breaking challenging and inconsistent.
