More detailed information about the avalanche: 

Unwitnessed SS avalanche outside Tamarack North Boundary.  Avalanche slid on melt freeze crust, Called in by other skiers and riders whom heard a yell for help. Scene was searched and no tranceiver hits noted.  No surface signs found. One exit track was noted 100 feet below the crown. Dog was deployed (Mac D) with no positive indication of a burial.
