Skied today heading up towards Profile summit on the Missouri Ridge side (HHH), no observed natural activity and no signs of instability with ski or snowmobile trigger. Quick hasty pit (W aspect @ 7300') shows roughly 120cm HS of a basically homogenous snowpack. No basal facets, pencil hard rounds near the ground trending to the top 30 cm of fluffy fresh snow. Yesterdays inch of snow fell on a layer of 1mm SH and failed with isolation, will keep an eye on that layer as it gets buried deeper. Couldn't wail on anything else hard enough to get a failure. Incredible skiing, 30 cm ski pen.
