McCall Winter Sport Club Big Mtn. Team dug a test pit on Outback Ridge (Upper Hidden Valley) at 10:15 Saturday morning.We found an ECT 27, Q3 at 40 cm down (the persistent weak layer) with no propagation. NW aspect at 7640 ft. We also saw minimal signs of wind loading in the area with some pillowing on the NE ridgeline.
