"Hi – We toured near Mores Creek summit today. At 7000 feet on a NE aspect we found 195 cm of snow. The top 25 cm was new storm snow over a layer of buried feathery surface facets. Stability tests were ECTN 10 Q1, and CT5 Q1 (pic). Failure was on the buried surface hoar. We saw heavier snow loading on NE slopes and lighter loading on SW slopes, and very little evidence of wind loading. We saw no signs on natural or human caused avalanches."
